Arrive Colombo , upon arrival at Colombo Airport, you will be met and transferred to the hotel in Negombo and check in at the Hotel.
Rest of the day leisure at Negombo Beach
Today, visit in Negombo is the St. Mary’s Church. The church is a tall building that is grand and lavish in structure. It consists of three levels which can be seen when you are approaching the church from the front.
Muthurajawela Marsh, which evocatively translates as ‘Supreme Field of Pearls’, is a little-known gem of a wetland at the southern end of Negombo’s lagoon. A boat ride offers sihtings of some 75 bird species, including purple herons, cormorants and kingfishers, as well as crocodiles, monkeys and even some very rarely seen otters. Visit Old Dutch Fort- The fort takes one back to Sri Lanka’s colonial era when it was ruled by the Europeans, stirring memories of the old period. With a fine gateway engraved with 1978 as the date of its inscription, the grounds of the Dutch Fort are now inhabited by the city’s prison. The Hamilton Canal- the Hamilton canal is a must-see spot. A 14.5 km channel, the Hamilton Canal was designed to direct salt water out of the bayou of Muthurajawela.
The area had been a rich rice-growing basin before the Portuguese constructed a canal that flooded the fields with sea water. Over the centuries, Mother Nature turned Muthurajawela into Sri Lanka’s biggest saline wetland. Visit Negombo Fish Village & Market- Negombo’s fish village and the market still form a major hub for trading within the local community. The second largest fish market in the open, Lellama, as referred by the locals is a treat is situated across the lagoon bridge.

Explore the well-preserved ruins of an ancient Sri Lankan civilization and its former capital at Anuradhapura, a World Heritage Site and erstwhile center of Theravada Buddhism set amidst peaceful green parks. Visit Anuradhapura , is the first Capital of the glorious ancient Sinhalese civilization of Sri Lanka & the greatest monastic city of the world during 4th Century B.C.. Visit Monuments at Anuradhapura - including the Old stone bridge, Western monasteries, Asokaramaya, Alms Hall at Abayagiriya, the Museum, Royal Palace (old) Temple of the Tooth Relic, Vessagiriya caves, Sacred Bo Tree, Ruwanveliseya, Isurumuniya, Jetawanaramaya, Abhayagiriya and the Thuparama dagabas. Also visit Avukana Buddha Statue - Undoubtedly, the most magnificent undamaged ancient image in the island. This 5th Century statue, ascribed to King Dhatusena, is 46 feet high.
Today, visit to Mihintale, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Dagoba of Thuparama, and finally don't miss a visit to Isurumuniya Temple. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: contemplate the waterfront views at Twin Baths (Kuttam Pokuna), then appreciate the history behind Abhayagiri Dagaba, then pause for some photo ops at Samadhi Statue, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. Visit There are many fascinating antiques in this place. Kurunegala city is known to be the birthplace of many interesting legends in the world. The Buddhist temple has been preserved and maintained very well. Due to this reason, there are more and more local as well as foreign travelers visiting this Viharaya. visit the Rock temple and Monastery & Meet with Monks (Mihintale there were 2,000 monks living on the mountain)

Afternoon visit Trincomalee, is one of the largest and safest Natural Harbors in the World. It has sunny weather throughout the year, with white sandy beaches, calm, placid and warm waters. Trincomalee was a Buddhist Center known as "Gokanna" from very early times and later a Hindu Kovil was constructed at the site. Visit The Kanniya Hot Springs
Optional: Excursion Pigeon Island, Floating in the great blue 1km offshore, Pigeon Island, with its powdery white sands and glittering coral gardens, tantalises with possibilities.

Today, proceed to Polonnaruwa and visit the Cultural sites, another “World Heritage Site” was the Capital of Sri Lanka from 11th - 13th Centuries, contains some splendid and spectacular statues. Visit the Museum, Royal Place, Statue of King, Gal Viharaya Statue, Lankathilaka Temple, Thuparamaya and Shiva Devalaya
Drive to Habarana, arrive & check in to the hotel
Afternoon Visit Dambulla Cave Temple, a vast isolated rock mass 500 feet high and a mile around the base, here is found the famous Rock Temple dating to the First Century B.C. The caves of Dambulla sheltered King Walagamba during his 14 years of exile from Anuradhapura.
Day excursion to visit Sigiriya and Minneriya National park.
Morning proceed to visit Minneriya National park by Jeep safari. The national park's faunal species include 24 species of mammals, 160 species of birds, 9 species of amphibians, 25 species of reptiles, 26 species of fish, and 75 species of butterflies. Large numbers of Sri Lankan elephants are attracted to grass fields on the edges of the reservoir during the dry season.
Afternoon Climb the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress (15 Kms from Dambulla)– is a “World Heritage Site” and the 5th Century “Fortress in the Sky” which is perhaps the most fantastic single wonder of the Island. It is also known as Lion Rock because of the huge lion that used to stand at the entrance to the Palace on the summit of the 600-foot high rock. The Water Gardens, Fountain Garden, summerhouse, Boulder Gardens and the Caves with the enclosed are should not be missed.

Today, Proceed to Kandy by surface,en-route visit Organic herb and spice garden in Matale. Spice Garden “You will see many spice like Cinnamon, Cardamom, Pepper Creepers and all other spice trees, plants and creepers are planted for visitors to see them, Lunch in the Spice garden. Arrive Kandy and check in at Hotel.
Afternoon: visit Kandy a city that is 500m above sea level and a center of Buddhism religion. Visit the Gem Museum and Silk Garden and Handicraft .Walk to town to enjoy the beautiful colonial monuments and visit the Buddha – Tooth Relic Temple and enjoy a typical cultural show.

Today, morning proceed to visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where an orphanage was started in 1975 to house the abandoned and the wounded elephants. The number of elephants has increased to more than 40 now, including baby elephants brought from various parts, as well as the babies born, as a result of the captive breeding programme.
Afternoon visit Peradeniya botanical garden - 147 acres in extent; Started in 1374 as a pleasure garden of the Kings of Gampola and Kandy. There are more than 5,000 species of trees, plants and creepers. Some rare and endemic as well as flora from the tropical world are found in the gardens. Spice Garden and Orchid House are popular with tourists.
Today, Drive to Nuwara Eliya, En route visiting Tea Plantation & Tea Factory-Experience an authentic tea plucking experience with the estate workers and enjoy a guided visit to Tea Factory where the best tea in the world is produced. You may also have a chance of tasting pure cup of Ceylon Tea at the Factory. where you will meet some tea pluckers and get to know about their lives and you will learn how to pick out the best tea leaves and pluck tea from the natives who have been doing it for many generations.
On the way visit the breathtaking beautiful waterfalls makes Nuwara Eliya one of the most beautiful town in the world. Nuwara Eliya also has one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in South Asia. You can visit the Strawberry Farms & pick some strawberries. Arrive & check in at hotel.
You can take a nice evening walk around the Gregory Lake. Visit the beautiful club house and British colonial style bungalows.

Early morning (picnic breakfast), a trekking tour in Horton Plains
Horton Plains National Park – 32 km from Nuwara Eliya via Ambewela and Pattipola, is the Horton Plains only 3160 hectares in extent. Known to Sri Lankans as Mahaeliya, it became Horton Plains after Sir Robert Horton, British Governor from 1831- 1837.Horton Plains became a Nature Reserve in 1969 and upgraded as a National Park in 1988 due to its unique watershed and bio-diversity values of the “Cloud Forest Reserve”.
Transfer to Railway station to board and enjoy a scenic train journey from Nanu oya to Ella (Train timing 12:45 /15:15 Hrs)
Upon arrival meet & visit Ella Gap - 06 miles from Bandarawela on the Bandarawela - Wellawaya road is the Ella gap with a view of the Kataragama range of mountains at the distance. The Patna grasslands, Ravana Ella waterfalls (1080 ft. high) and Randeniwela monument could be seen on this route.
Today, travel by road to Haputale, on arrival check in at Hotel.
The small village is completely surrounded by glorious tea plantations and there are plenty of opportunities to get out into the countryside.
Afternoon Hiking to the top of Diyaluma Waterfall-walking to the top of the second highest waterfall in Sri Lanka, the journey is 1.5 hours long each way! The walk to the top is around 30-45 minutes but you'll want heaps of time to explore all the pools, there are three sets altogether.
Optional: Enjoy some amazing home cooked Sri Lankan food
It's a great place to try an array of different dishes, including the usual dhal, beans, okra and kotthu, but also with lots of dishes we didn't find elsewhere in Sri Lanka, including pumpkin curry, aubergine curry and several chicken dishes.
Early morning walk to enjoy Sunrise at Lipton's Seat, The tea plantations around Lipton's Seat are some of the most spectacular we’ve ever seen and seeing the sunrise from Lipton’s seat was a truly memorable experience. Watching the sun rise above this beautiful countryside and lush green plantations was magical, tranquil and well worth the early start we made to get there.
Then Walking down through the tea fields- We strongly recommend combining it with the sunrise at Liptons Seat as the walk back down through the tea plantations to the Dambatenne tea factory is stunning and probably one of the best things we did in the whole of Sri Lanka.
After visit drive to Yala National Park, Arrive and check in at Hotel.
Afternoon visit Yala National Park by 4 x 4 jeep Safari, Yala (Ruhuna) National Park - the Ruhunu National Park covers 126,786 hectares including the Strict Natural Reserve (Block II). The most familiar is Block I (14,101 hectares) and this block was established in 1938. Yala is famous for its big herds and large number of Elephants, Leopards, Spotted Deer, Sambhur, Crocodiles, Mongoose, Wild Boar, Wild Buffalo, and many other animals. More than 130 bird species are recorded which includes the resident and winter visitors.
Today, Travel by road to Mirissa, enroute visit Tissamarama: visit the ancient town is, since it is at the crossroads of being that unique rustic charm and a major cultural hotspot in the country, since it is home to monuments in the form of stupas or ‘dagobas’ that tell an intriguing story of the beginnings of Buddhism in the country, namely the Sandagiri Dagoba, Yatala Dagoba and the Tissamaharama Raja Maha Viharaya.
After visit continue drive to Mirissa (Weligama), arrive and check in at Hotel
Mirissa- A small pristine secluded beach and somewhat harder to get to. Hence the name: Secret Beach. There are just one small bar and a local lady selling coconuts. Enjoy an incredible sunset from Secret Beach.
Visit The Doctors House - Ready for a great afternoon party with surf vibes? The Doctors House is the place to visit! It is a 15-minute drive out of town and highly recommended to visit. The big garden has the perfect laid-back vibe, great food, drinks, and live music.

(Whale watching -One of the best whale watching tours in Mirissa, the Whale Watching Club is quite popular for their hospitality and being very knowledgeable of the marine life living in the Indian Ocean. It additionally offers a range of water activities that you can enjoy during your time in Mirissa. Surfing - Mirissa has great waves perfect for surfing. It has a point reef break which is ideal for intermediate surfing. The specialty about Mirissa is that its waves are hardly affected by onshore wind due to the point being located in between rocks and a hill)
Today, travel by road to Galle, En route visit Ahangama Village - A unique attraction in Sri Lanka is the sight of the stilt fishermen. Arrive Galle & check in at hotel.
Afternoon visit : Old Galle a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Galle Fort itselfisstill a living monument with a bustling community within the great ramparts, massive bastions, pepper pot towers, while narrow streets display its Dutch heritage with beckoning pillared verandas and fretwork facades.
Walking around is best so you can peep through frangipani filled courtyards at houses, galleries or shops selling antiques, spices, pictures, nouveau-boule and hand-woven sarongs. Boutique hotels in Galle incongruously cheek by jowl with postage-stamp size cafes, soyou are never far from a perfect sun-downer.Ariyapalamask workshop and museum in Ambalangoda – Mask makers on the island.
Today, transfer by surface to Colombo,En-route visit Turtle Hatchery at Kosgoda “Kosgoda is famous for its turtle hatchery- operated by the Wild Life Protection Society of Sri Lanka. It was established in 1981 to protect Sri Lanka's turtles from extinction.
Arrival Colombo& take a drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree-lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, where is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749. Also visit the BMICH, see the replica of Avukana Buddha and Independence Square.
Shopping- visit Mlesna exquisite tea boutique, cashew nut shop, ready made garments and all sorts at Majestic City. Visit the Lanka Ceramics Centre, a place where you can buy “NORITAKE SET” or other ceramic items, visit the ‘ODEL SHOP’ at Lipton Place. Visit ’BAREFOOT’, ’HOUSE OF FASHION’ and 'BEVERLY STREET' – 24 hours shopping arcade (garments only) at Kollupitya.
Thereafter transfer to Airport to connect the departure flight.
