Full of Forts, Palaces, Temples, Step wells and Natural wonders a tour of Rajasthan and  will enrich your knowledge about India and its ancient culture. The culture is still prevelant in modern day times.
Starting from Delhi this tour will take you to all the major attractions of Rajasthan via Agra (The city famous for TAJ). You will be visiting the desert cities of Bikaner and Jaisalmer. The Blue City of Jodhpur and the lake city of Udaipur. You will also enjoy the pleasantness of the Aravelli hills and their village of artisans which are reminiscent of a bygone era. Rajasthan is an explosion of colours.  From indigenous tribes to first-class art and craft, Jain temples, forest reserves with endemic species and cities from the most ancient civilizations of the world.

Rajasthan Standard Tour

You will arrive at New Delhi’s International Airport. Following customs, immigration formalities, and baggage collection, a WEI representative will meet you as you EXIT the ARRIVALS TERMINAL building after which you would be transferred to your hotel.

Upon arrival at the hotel, proceed to check-in at the hotel.

Delhi- India’s capital and a major gateway to the country, contemporary Delhi is a bustling metropolis, which successfully combines in its folds - the ancient with the modern.

The first impressions for any visitor traveling in from the airport are of a specious, garden city, tree-lined with a number of beautiful parks.

After breakfast, you Hill proceed for a sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi.

Old Delhi: An ancient walled city.  Here you will see Red Fort the most opulent Fort and Palace of the Mughal Empire: Raj Ghat, the memorial site of Mahatma Gandhi; Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India; and Chandni Chowk, the bustling and colorful market of the old city.

New Delhi: This city was designed and built by the British in the 1920s - a city of wide boulevards impressive Government buildings, green parks, and gardens.  First, you will visit two monuments from Delhi's past Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar.  Then your drive takes you along the ceremonial avenue, Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate and Parliament House.

Return to the hotel.

Morning breakfast at the hotel. Later you will proceed to Agra. Upon arrival, you will proceed for Check-in at the hotel.

Agra - the city of eternal love. To visit Agra is to take a walk through history. Labyrinthine lanes pulsating with the erstwhile Mughal grandeur caress remnants of the past and enchants visitors with an unsurpassable aroma of eternal love, the world-famous Taj Mahal. 

The seat of the three Mughal emperors before Shah Jahan shifted India's capital permanently to Delhi; Agra today is just another provincial town nestling on the sandy western bank of river Yamuna.

After Lunch, visit to the Agra Fort (an outstanding example of Mughal architecture).

Agra Fort - the seat and the stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations. This was the seat of Mughal rule and administration and the present structure owes its origins to Akbar who erected the walls and gates and the first buildings on the eastern banks of Yamuna River. Shah Jehan added the impressive quarters and the mosque while Aurangzeb added the outer ramparts. Visit its Hall of Public Audience and its Royal Pavilions. Then proceed to Itmad-Ud-Daulah popularly known as Baby Taj.

Early Morning, proceed to visit TAJ MAHAL at Sunrise.

The Taj Mahal is everything that has been said about it and more. Taking 22 years and 20,000 men to build, the white marble was quarried 200 miles away and was transported to the site by a fleet of 1000 elephants. Built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as an expression of his love for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, in mid 17th century, the Taj Mahal is truly one of the wonders of the world. Though the Taj appears to be amazingly perfect from almost any angle, it is the close-up marble inlay work, which is really astounding. You will have ample time to view and be mesmerized by this outstanding piece of architecture.

Later After breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Jaipur.

Today, travel by surface to Jaipur.  - . Adorned with pink sandstone palaces, majestic forts, and verdant green gardens against a scenic backdrop of the Aravalli hills, Jaipur represents the charm of India’s rich past and the sophistication of a flourishing metropolis. Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II founded the city in 1727 when he decided to shift his capital from Amer. A renowned architect, astronomer, and avid scientist, Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II built his capital with geometric precision and made Jaipur one of the most well-planned cities in India. Upon arrival in Jaipur, transfer to hotel.

Then embark on your Cycle Rickshaw ride- This tour is planned to offer you an insight on the socio-economic aspects of the city. Every lane in the walled city has something interesting to offer and the relaxed Rickshaw ride is the best way to explore the city like the locals do.

Morning proceed for the sightseeing tour of Jaipur visiting Amber Fort with Elephant Ride

Visit the city of Amber and its fort. Erected on a vast hill, the citadel and its fort were intended to protect the ancient capital of the state of Jaipur.  You will get there on the back of an elephant, then you will come back in a jeep. You will be able to visit the various rooms, the inner courtyards, the rooms of public hearings, the Mughal gardens with its star-shaped flower beds. In addition, Amber Fort offers panoramic views of Lake Maota. On the way back you will stop at the Hawa Mahal - the famous and magnificent Palace of the Winds. 

Later, proceed to visit City Palace is one of the major landmarks in Jaipur. The beautiful palace was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh during his reign. Among the various forts and palaces of Jaipur, City Palace stands apart, with its outstanding art and architecture. In the Palace complex visit Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum. Visit to Observatory or Jantar Mantar. It is an astronomical observation site built in the early 18th century.Whose passion for science, engineering, and astronomy prompted him to construct this complex of fourteen scientific instruments. It’s been over 200 years since they were first constructed, these fourteen structures can still accurately measure time; predict eclipses, and track stars and planets in their orbits.

Today, travel by road to Bikaner, on arrival check-in at the hotel.

In the afternoon, you will visit Junagarh Fort, Built-in 1593 A.D. by Raja Rai Singh. The fort made in red sandstone and marble, makes a picturesque ensemble of courtyards, kiosks, and windows dotted all over the structure. Bhandasar Jain Temple, a Beautiful 16th century A.D. Jain temple dedicated to the 13th Trirthankra. An enormous archway leads to the Jormal temple in a spacious courtyard. Take a tuk-tuk ride through the picturesque bazaar then walk through the old town to explore its narrow streets and take the opportunity to visit some ancient havelis

Today, travel by road to Jaisalmer, on the way pass camel carts, vibrant and colorful Rajasthani women carrying produce to the market, and men sporting brightly colored turbans. On the way, you have lunch (on your own)in the splendid fortress of Pokharan and you will have time to explore the place. Upon arrival check in at the hotel.

Later visit Pansari Bazaar, one of the oldest street markets in Jaisalmer. Whether you’re looking for puppets or a variety of local souvenirs, Pansari Bazaar has it all. Sadar Bazaar is the place for any traveling shopaholic to get their fix. Our guide will ensure you get to explore these historic markets without having to deal with the hassle of insistent salesmen.

Today, you will visit Jaisalmer city almost 900 years old, Jaisalmer was a major port on the trade route across the forbidding Thar Desert, and still today, one's first glimpse of the honey-colored walls of the fort, rising out of the hot and barren desert is magical, untouched by time, Jaisalmer, with its golden crenelated walls and narrow streets lined with exquisite havelis, has a medieval ambiance. The Havelis in both the fort and the town are exceptional. Similar in style to the homes of Venetian merchants, Patwon ki Haveli, Nathmalji ki Haveli the mansions of wealthy traders. The houses are decorated with beautifully carved facades, jali screens, and oriel windows, each with an inner courtyard surrounded by richly decorated apartments.

Later in the afternoon excursion Sam Desert:  Located 45 km west of Jaisalmer, are the proper sand dunes popular with camel safaris, this Jaisalmer's nearest real Sahara-like desert, the ripples on the wind-caressed dunes create enchanting images - a photograph's delight. Today, drive to Jodhpur, Jodhpur is the second largest city in Rajasthan and a major tourist attraction in the country. The city is known as the "Sun City" for the bright, sunny weather it enjoys all year. It is also referred to as the "Blue City" due to the vivid blue-painted houses around.

In the afternoon, you will visit Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada and Clock Tower. As Rajasthan’s largest fort, Mehrangarh forms a looming presence over Jodhpur with walls that soar 120 meters (400 feet) high above the surrounding cityscape. There are several palaces inside the fort. The fort looks magnificent from the city and if you go inside the fort, the fort reciprocates the favor: the city looks unbelievably wonderful from the fort. Jaswant Thada is situated on the left side of Fort Mehrangarh, in fact between the fort and the city. Well-maintained gardens welcome you inside the compound and provide a great base to sit back and reflect on what you’ve seen and experienced.

Later you will walk into Clock Tower bazaar built by Maharaja Sardar Singh (1880-1911) from whom the market takes its name. In fact, the tower dominates the entire scenario.

After breakfast, drive to Udaipur. En route visit the famous Jain Temple of Ranakpur (Temples open from 1200 to 1600 hrs for the public daily. Ranakpur is widely known for its marble Jain temple, said to be the most spectacular of the Jain temples light colored marble has been used for the construction of this grand temple. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel.

Afternoon you will be free/walk in the local bazaar.

Today, you will visit the city of Udaipur with its lakes and palaces, cradled in the hills of the Aravalli range is a very romantic city. The name itself "The City of Sunrise" evokes a sense of romance. We first visit the City Palace - the focal point of the city and several areas of interest like the Suraj Gokhada, Badi Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Mor Chowk (the peacock courtyard), and the Zenana Mahal. Next, we visit the Jagdish Temple, located close to the Palace with its imposing sculpted figures and heavily ornamented interiors. Finally, stop by to visit Sahelion ki bari Gardens or the ‘Garden of maids’; built under the express guidance of Maharana Sangram Singh II, it is believed that the garden was constructed for 48 maids who accompanied the Maharana's wife as dowry.

This evening, we take a boat ride at Lake Pichola, 4 km long and 3 km broad, surrounded by splendid hills, palaces, temples, bathing ghats, and embankments. Visit the island palace, Jag Mandir which is beautifully set in the lake.

After Breakfast, check out and proceed to Airport to connect the flight to Delhi.

Upon arrival, you will be by our office staff and taken to the International airport (If the flight lands at the Domestic Airport terminal, instead of the International terminal ).
